Introduction
Johnny and I received a complimentary 7-night stay at the Le Vele Resort as a result of winning a Facebook contest run by Turks and Caicos Vacation Planning. Le Vele is perfectly situated on Grace Bay Beach on the island of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. In 2014, Grace Bay was voted as Trip Advisor’s Travelers’ Choice 2nd best beach in the world. Le Vele Resort offers 22 luxury oceanfront suites that occupy two white, architecturally modern buildings.
Upon entering the main office, we were greeted by Le Vele’s General Manager, Mr. Clayton Thomas. He looked up our names in the computer system, and recognized us as the contest winners. We were then led to our first-floor one-bedroom unit.
The One Bedroom Resort Suite
As soon as we stepped inside the suite, our breath was taken away by the gorgeous view of the ocean. The living room leads to a patio with a direct path to the beach.
The beautiful view continues in the bedroom, which has its own glass sliding doors to access the balcony.
The bathroom is fitted with a stand-up shower and granite-top vanity, and it can be entered from the bedroom and entrance foyer.
Another prominent feature of the suite is its gourmet kitchen. The stainless steel countertop and appliances provide all the comforts of being home. We found eating utensils, cutlery, and cookware inside the cabinets. The refrigerator was stocked with bottled water. In addition, the suite’s open floor plan allows guests to enjoy a panoramic scenery of the turquoise waters of Grace Bay Beach even when standing behind the kitchen sink.
Our suite was also equipped with a washer and dryer, a landline phone service, and a WiFi connection.
Amenities
For relaxation, there is a beautiful infinity pool that is centrally located on the grounds of the resort.
Right next to the swimming pool are two outdoor grills that can be used to prepare your own meals.
Additionally, the resort has a gym and offers guests complimentary use of bicycle and beach chairs/umbrellas.
Conclusion
We absolutely loved Le Vele and would choose it again as our future accommodation in Providenciales. We missed waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The location of the resort is also very convenient to restaurants, the grocery story, and numerous shops. Furthermore, everyone who worked at Le Vele was always very friendly and genuinely helpful. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity of staying at such an excellent Caribbean beach resort.
